I am a molecular biologist/virologist by training. I have completed my PhD from Princeton University. I currently serve as Vice President, Medical Director at a medical communications company. Previously I have held senior-level Medical Affairs/Scientific Strategist roles at large network-based as well as boutique medical communications agencies, serving clients from small biotech to fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, I was Associate Director of Business Development and External Scientific Affairs at CytoSorbents Corporation, a medical device company. At CytoSorbents I had been closely involved with the company’s progression from early (start-up) to commercial-stage both on the scientific and business fronts focusing on blood purification technologies, including CytoSorb®, which is currently being used to treat critically ill COVID-19 patients in the U.S. and many countries across the globe.
